Importing bookmark files

use:

• file
• import and export (takes you to a wizard)
• next
• import favourites
• next
• import from an application (e.g. your netscape bookmarks)
• or import from a file or address (e.g. your netscape bookmarks file, or someone else's)

the file you want to import must be accesible from your file system

tip: although it allows you to import favourites to any folder, the default "folders" in Internet Explorer are sometimes channels and are not real folders. If you try to import into these, the import will fail. Creating a new folder will work, as will importing into the top level folder.
